NEOEA Representative Assembly

The next NEOEA Rep. Assembly is Saturday, April 21, at Normandy High School in Parma. Delegates to this RA will elect officials, endorse candidates for election at the OEA RA, and adopt a budget. Delegates provide the governance which makes NEOEA a responsive, democratic organization.

Interested in an Appointment to an OEA Committee?

As a member-directed organization, the Ohio Education Association relies on volunteer efforts to guide its work. For that purpose, it maintains a number of appointive bodies; these are uncompensated positions, but OEA pays expenses. To identify potential members of these groups, OEA relies on recommendations from district associations and other groups within OEA. As a district association, NEOEA recommends members to OEA for standing committees and core function committees, and makes its own appointments to three district screening councils.

To be considered for an NEOEA recommendation, please fill out the application and attach a letter identifying your experience with the work of the body to which you are applying.

Our next NEOEA Day is Friday, October 12, 2018!

NEOEA Day represents your dues dollars at work. Attending NEOEA Day programs, most of which provide growth opportunities at lower-than-usual prices, is an excellent way to get some of your NEOEA dues dollars back! For more information, click the link below.
