NEOEA Scholarships to the OEA Summer Leadership Academy

You and your local association can obtain valuable training and save money! OEA Summer Leadership Academy 2024 is an annual conference for educators from June 20-22 in Columbus. The theme, Learning and Leading: Leveraging Our Power for Public Education,” offers participants the opportunity to explore leadership, professional issues, organizing, advocacy, and policy in collaboration with OEA staff and educator colleagues.

NEOEA has two scholarships to OEA's Summer Leadership Academy in each of our nine electoral units as well as two in the Higher Education division. Up to ten of those scholarships will be funded by NEOEA and up to ten will be funded by OEA. Scholarships pay for registration, some meals, and room fees (two nights). In order to apply for these scholarships, please fill in the form and reply by email or postal mail. The deadline for entries is Friday, April 19.
