Friend of Education

NEOEA will seek to recognize a Friend of Education. NEOEA’s members and local affiliates are encouraged to nominate individuals and/or organizations who would be worthy recipients of this honor. If a Friend of Education is selected, NEOEA Representative Assembly delegates will recognize the honoree at the spring Representative Assembly.

Purpose:

The North Eastern Ohio Education Association Friend of Education Award recognizes a person and/or organization whose leadership, actions, and support have contributed to the improvement of public education for a broad cross-section of northeastern Ohio.

Qualifications:

NEOEA’s Friend of Education Award may be bestowed upon any person or organization whose leadership, actions, and support have proven that person or organization to be a true friend of education, educators, or students in northeastern Ohio.

Nominations:

Any member of NEOEA or any local affiliate of NEOEA may nominate an individual or organization for the Friend of Education Award.
