Each year, the United Labor Agency recognizes a limited number of “Unsung Heroes of the Labor Movement.” Unsung Heroes honored in recent years have included twelve union activists from seven NEOEA locals.
During this pandemic, the United Labor Agency (ULA) wanted to continue to recognize those men and women who have dedicated their career and lives to making our unions work but who often don’t get recognized for their contribution. This year they want to focus on honoring the essential workers who tirelessly and selflessly continued working throughout the pandemic.
The submission from NEOEA honors all NEOEA members, and the video can be seen at https://youtu.be/8HVBa9pcgY.
