NEOEA Summer Leadership

Mark your calendar for July 24-25 for the NEOEA Summer Leadership–great sessions and networking with colleagues plus our keynote speaker Betsy Kling, WKYC’s Chief Meteorologist and promoter of “Growing Curiosity: Girls in STEM.” More details will be available in May.

Community Involvement Grants

Strengthening the relationship between a local school employee union and its community is a key element in building a strong and successful local association. Nothing cements these relationships like working together to benefit others in the community. Participation in community events also offers affiliates the opportunity to enhance their visibility as vital, contributing members of their communities.

NEOEA is offering Community Involvement Grants to encourage local affiliates to become actively involved in a local charitable event such as the American Cancer Society Relay for Life, Reach Out and Read, Special Olympics, or other highly-visible community charitable event. Details available at
