Experienced Treasurers Webinar

Join us on Friday, July 24, (the day after NEOEA Summer Leadership Conference) for a webinar for experienced local association treasurers with OEA Secretary-Treasurer Rob McFee.

Designed specifically for experienced treasurers, this session will revisit essential areas such as fiduciary responsibilities, membership tracking, and core accounting practices. Participants will also gain valuable insight into cybersecurity risks and effective strategies to protect sensitive financial and member information in an increasingly digital environment. The focus will be on strengthening existing knowledge, avoiding common pitfalls, and reinforcing sound financial procedures.

Because this session is tailored for treasurers with more than five years of experience, it will also provide a “what’s new” perspective on evolving responsibilities. Participants will explore recent changes in financial practices, compliance expectations, and reporting standards, along with updated guidance on cybersecurity. Attendees will refresh their knowledge, discover new tools and strategies, and ensure they remain current in a constantly-changing landscape.
